Accounts Assistant

I currently have the pleasure of supporting an exciting Marketing Agency with their search for an Accounts Assistant. Reporting into a supportive Finance Manager you will be part of a team within a fast-growing business. The business itself is at the forefront of its specialism and is seen as an industry innovator. This role is suited to a confident go getter who wants to work and grow within a face paced industry.

Position Accounts Assistant

Location Bournemouth

Salary - £22k - £24k experience dependent.

The role will involve:

• Organisation of a high volume of Purchase ledger Invoices
• Sales Ledger
• Credit control (small amount)
• Bank Reconciliations
• Company Expenses
• Credit card processing
• Preparation of payment runs.
• Cash position and forecast updating
• Provision of data for inclusion in accruals and prepayment schedules
• Supporting the Management Accountant with monthly and year end reports.

Skills & Experience:

• At least 2 yrs. experience within a busy finance department
• Ideally studying AAT
• Competent with Excel
• Methodical in approach
• Keen eye for detail
• Excellent in communication both verbally and written.
• Willingness to learn.
