Finance Transformation Lead

A global blue-chip brand name market leading business are looking for a Finance Transformation Lead to drive a technology transformation from SAP ECC6 to SAP S4HANA. We are seeking a highly skilled and experienced finance transformation systems specialist to play a critical role in the successful implementation of a new finance system across the organisation. The ideal individual will possess strong data architecture, management, analysis, and technical skills, as well as a deep understanding of finance systems and their impact on business processes.

Responsibilities:

• Develop and implement a comprehensive data strategy for the Finance transformation programme, ensuring data accuracy, integrity, and completeness.
• Define and enforce data governance policies, standards, and best practices to maintain data quality and consistency across the organization.
• Collaborate with cross-functional teams to establish data ownership, roles, and responsibilities.
• Lead the planning, execution, and monitoring of data migration activities in parallel with the SI partner, ensuring a seamless transition from legacy systems to the new finance system.
• Develop and implement data integration strategies to support interoperability between the finance system and other internal and external systems.
• Coordinate with business and technical teams to resolve data migration and integration issues in a timely and efficient manner.
• Implement data quality management processes and tools to identify, assess, and remediate data quality issues.
• Develop and execute data validation plans to ensure the accuracy and consistency of data in the Finance system.
• Collaborate with business users to establish data quality metrics and Key Performance Indicators (KPIs).
• Work closely with business stakeholders to identify and define data requirements for Finance system ETL, to ensure quality reporting and analytics.
• Work with the analytics teams to help to create solutions to support data-driven decision-making.
• Provide data insights and recommendations to support continuous improvement of business processes and system performance.
• Provide support to the integration team as required.

Requirements:

• Significant experience in data management, with a focus on SAP finance systems, preferably in a global transformation programme context.
• Proven experience in data migration, integration, and quality management.
• Proficient in SAP data ETL and SAP data tools in S/4HANA toolset (technical system work to be delivered and managed by IS team).
• Strong project management skills and experience in managing cross-functional teams.
• Excellent communication, presentation, and interpersonal skills.
• Ability to work independently and collaboratively in a fast-paced, dynamic environment.
• Knowledge of Finance Data, SAP tables and processes P2P, O2C, R2R, (AP/AR, Fixed Assets, Projects, etc)
