Internal Medicine Hospitalist in Alabama

Details For this Opportunity:
-Dates Needed: need starts in June 2023
-Specialty: the will consider Family Medicine or Internal Medicine trained providers
-Reason: night team is understaffed
-Certifications: ACLS/BLS needed
-License: active Alabama license and Alabama DEA preferred but we can PRE docs with an active compact license letter already too
-Shifts: 100% night need, 6p-6a
-Admissions at night: 6-10 admissions at night with partial mid-level coverage (specific hours for the mid level is to be determined) plus shared cross coverage call for around 100 patients already on the service
-EMR: Cerner
-Credentialing: 60-90 days, temp privs might be a bit quicker but not by much
Codes/rapid responses: There is an in-house resident service that responds to codes so codes are not required
-Types of Procedures required: No procedures required, lines and intubation done by Anesthesia but Initial vent management settings are generally needed so that would be a requirement
-COVID Vaccination Requirement: Required but they have an exemption application process for non-vaccinated providers as well
