Payroll Officer

We are currently working with a fantastic client based in Stoke to recruit an experienced payroll officer to support an established payroll team processing a large monthly payroll. Working in an established team this is a fully office based role but is a fab team with a great manager and a really great business. This is a full end to end processing position and the successful candidate will need a good and solid understanding of UK payroll legislation and experience of working within a start to finish payroll operation.

Key Duties/Tasks:

• Processing full end to end payroll on both a weekly and monthly cycle
• Responsible for all payroll reporting and liaising with HMRC
• Dealing with payroll queries and providing sound legislation advice

Desirable skills and attributes:

• Experience in full end to end payroll position
• Experience of all statutory deductions and payments
• Must have a comprehensive knowledge of UK payroll Legislation
