We require someone with a strong track record in managing accounts and payroll for a business with over 100 sub-contract employees.

Key Responsibilities:

As the Senior Accountant at CS Pipetech Ltd, your role will be pivotal in overseeing and enhancing the financial performance of our organisation. Responsible for a team of 2-3 and reporting in to the Directors.

Your responsibilities will encompass:

• Financial Leadership: Take charge of all financial aspects, providing strategic direction and expertise to senior management.
• Financial Reporting: Ensure accurate and compliant financial reporting.
• Budgeting and Forecasting: Develop and maintain budgets, forecasts, and financial models, aiding strategic decisions.
• Tax Management: Efficiently manage tax planning and compliance, staying abreast of relevant regulations.
• Audit Coordination: Coordinate annual audits effectively.
• Financial Strategy: Provide valuable financial insights and recommendations to contribute to company growth and profitability.
• Payroll Expertise: Manage payroll processes, especially in the context of Construction Industry Scheme (CIS).
• Sage Mastery: Leverage your expertise in Sage software for efficient accounting operations.
• Team Leadership: Lead, mentor, and inspire a team of accountants for their professional growth and high performance.

Qualifications:

To excel in this role, you should bring:

• A professional accounting qualification (ACCA, ACA, or equivalent).
• A minimum of 5 years of experience in accounting, with a strong record of financial leadership.
• Proficiency in Sage accounting software.
• Extensive experience with payroll, including expertise in CIS.
• Strong analytical and problem-solving skills.
• Exceptional written and verbal communication skills.
• Proven leadership capabilities.
